Van Johnson stars in a comedic tale where a couple schemes to show their uncle's riverside property to potential buyers in exchange for three dollars a day, ultimately borrowing the uncle's rowboat to transport interested parties. The story includes an intervening editorial feature about "United Nations Week," promoting youth cooperation and solidarity across racial, linguistic, and religious lines through a theatrical pageant. A separate comic strip features Taffy Tucker holding a club meeting that descends into chaos when her father sends her to a punishing school, leading her and her friends to devise a plan to escape the situation.
