When a spy mission is needed to stop the invasion plans of Sooper Dooper and his ant army, hapless Tardy Turtle reluctantly volunteers—only to find himself dangerously close to enemy headquarters as Ronald R. Rabbit and Marvin Monk scheme to steal Happy Village's treasury. As Tardy gets tangled up in espionage and the enemy closes in, he'll have to uncover Sooper Dooper's attack plans before dawn breaks.

When Tardy Turtle races to warn Happy Village about the Mayor’s betrayal, he’s captured by Sooper Dooper—leaving the fate of the town in the hands of Wiggles, who doesn’t yet know he’s the Wonderworm or how his hidden powers could make all the difference.

When the military might of Sooper Dooper descends on Happy Village with tanks and dive-bombing planes, it takes the heroic intervention of Wiggles the Wonderworm to drive back the initial assault—but a stray blow leaves him with no memory of his own triumph. As the village faces a brutal siege and starvation sets in, Wiggles joins a desperate fishing expedition that leads him straight into the belly of a massive whale, where he discovers an unexpected ally and hatches a daring escape plan. With Happy Village's treacherous Mayor orchestrating a false surrender and Sooper Dooper's forces moving in to enslave the population, Wiggles races back to turn the tide once more.

When Wonderworm sets out to catch a fish for the village, he ends up on the wrong end of a hungry whale’s mouth—only to find himself inside the creature’s belly, where he must stay clever to survive. Meanwhile, Mayor Rabbit and Sooper Dooper are locked in a tense game of strategy, each trying to outwit the other for control of the village.

When Sooper Dooper seizes Happy Village, the fate of the town hangs in the balance. Wonderworm, having escaped the whale, races back to face the mighty hero in a showdown that could change everything.
