Swing with Scooter #13
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThere's a wonderfully mod energy to this July 1968 DC teen comedy, as Scooter — decked out in a sharp blue pinstripe suit — holds court in what looks like a department store, cheerfully pitching a dress with a "fast side zipper" to a skeptical blonde while two more stylishly dressed girls look on. Cover artists Joe Orlando and Tex Blaisdell capture the swinging-sixties fashion scene perfectly, from the green mod coat and red tights to the striped mini-dress and fishnet stockings. With the promise of "Odd Jobs by Oddballs!" inside, this issue is a bright, breezy slice of late-'60s DC at its most fun.
