Charlton's Sweethearts #92 delivers the kind of romantic heartache the series did so well, with a beach-scene cover — penciled and inked by Dick Giordano and Pat Masulli — that says everything in a glance: a blonde woman in a striking black-and-red swimsuit looks away, jaw tight, while in the background a young man and a dark-haired woman share an embrace near the locker building. The cover copy "Two Hearts Can Break" and the caption about finding him with another girl frame the sting of that moment without a word of dialogue needed.
