This anthology issue contains three romance stories. "Disillusioned" follows a man named Joan who leaves his girlfriend after she accuses him of lacking courage and faith, prompting him to search the city streets to prove his love and find her again. "The Happiness and Heartbreak of Vicki Carter: The Searching Heart" (Chapter IV, by John Messman) depicts Vicki Carter, a nurse working for wealthy J. Foster Thorpe, caught between her genuine feelings for Bob Thorpe and the arrival of his best girl Pamela, as Vicki struggles with her unrequited love.
