“Hot Air Conditioning”

In "Hot Air Conditioning," Ferdie pays a visit to Suzie in the hospital, convinced she's referring to her feet when she mentions dogs—only to be surprised by the real reason for her visit. Uncle Blunderbuss tries to impress with a wild Arctic tale involving huskies, but his story takes a sudden turn when he reacts badly to Suzie’s actual dogs. Al Fagaly handles both pencils and inks for the story, while Samm Schwartz delivers the whimsical cover.

Ferdie visits Suzie in the hospital where she is getting her dogs treated, although he believes she means "dogs" as slang for her feet. Later, Uncle Blunderbuss tells a tall tale about driving a team of huskies through the Arctic, which is disproven when he has an allergic reaction to Suzie's dogs.
