This anthology issue contains multiple detective stories. One story follows a builder named Gardo who disappears mysteriously during his lunch hour, leaving behind only bricks he was laying; a detective must investigate what happened to him while his worried wife Teresga waits for answers. Another story involves a psychologist named Mr. Adams who approaches a newspaper columnist named Miss Logan to help solve a murder case by profiling a "mad killer" based on emotional and physical characteristics; the investigation leads them to Marty's junkyard on Madison Street and ultimately to uncovering the killer's identity through a careless clue left behind. A third story depicts a harrowing chase sequence where vehicles collide at traffic lights while a mysterious figure causes vehicular mayhem on the roadway, resulting in multiple casualties and a desperate pursuit.
