Suske en Wiske #380

Issue #380 of the beloved Belgian series brings "De Correcte Krimson" — and the cover promises quite a spectacle, with a flamboyant, cane-wielding figure in a top hat surveying a chaotic pile of crashed robots and a toppled police vehicle, while a camouflage-clad antagonist looms triumphantly atop the heap and Suske and Wiske peer out wide-eyed from the wreckage. Satellite dishes and a dramatic stormy sky set the scene near what appears to be some kind of research facility, lending the whole affair a wonderfully madcap, science-gone-wrong energy. Wout Schoonis delivers a cover packed with kinetic detail, and with Peter Van Gucht writing and Sabine de Meyer on colors, this 2025 entry looks like a thoroughly entertaining addition to the long-running series.
