Suske en Wiske #377

Issue #377 of the long-running Belgian series brings Suske en Wiske to feudal Japan for "De stenen samoerai," written by Peter Van Gucht with art and inks by Wout Schoonis and colors by Sabine de Meyer. The cover — also drawn and inked by Wout Schoonis — sets a wonderfully dramatic tone: a colossal stone samurai warrior looms over a Japanese temple courtyard, while Suske in a blue kimono and Wiske in a red one each brandish swords, and the little mascot Lambik-lookalike creature scurries between them in apparent alarm. It's a fun, adventure-packed setup that should delight fans of the series and newcomers alike, published by Standaard Uitgeverij in 2025.
