In this 2023 entry in Willy Vandersteen's beloved Belgian series, cover artist Luc Morjaeu delivers a delightfully chilling scene: a skeletal, scythe-wielding Grim Reaper on a scooter bears down on Suske, Wiske, and their companions as they speed away in an open jeep along a forest road. The title "De harteloze Hein" — "The Heartless Hein" — sets a deliciously spooky tone, and the contrast between the terrifying pursuer and the gang's wide-eyed scramble makes for an instantly engaging cover.
