Survival #3

Dark Horse's Survival #3 brings the dread in full force, with a grizzled, fur-coated man staring down the reader with cold resolve while gripping a snarling, pale-skinned creature by the throat — blood spattering across the foreground in vivid crimson. The contrast between the man's weathered calm and the monster's feral, jagged-toothed fury makes for a genuinely unsettling image. Sean Lewis, Bryndon Everett, and Natalie Barahona are crafting something bracingly grim with this series, and issue #3 looks like it's not letting up.
