“Batman: The Killing Joke”

"Batman: The Killing Joke" is a pivotal one-shot that delves into the twisted psyche of the Joker, featuring a chilling encounter between Batman and the Clown Prince of Crime at Arkham Asylum, where a shocking impersonation sets off a harrowing chain of events. Written by Alan Moore and Enzo Baldoni, with striking art by Brian Bolland and colors by John Higgins, the story unfolds with a tense, psychological edge as the Joker targets Commissioner Gordon and his daughter Barbara in a nightmarish game of madness. The cover, also by Brian Bolland, captures the story’s unsettling tone with its stark, iconic imagery.
