"The Big Cheese" features Supermouse discovering that his cousin Weakmouse has been nibbling at his prized supercheese, leading to a confrontation where the supercheese accidentally transfers its powers to Weakmouse, who becomes temporarily super-powered before the effects wear off. The issue also includes a text story, "Sylvia," about a cow who wishes to be a moose and ventures into the forest with a chipmunk named Chatterton, encountering various animals including a frog in distress. Additionally, there is a science fiction story in which Supermouse uses his supersensitive powers to investigate the source of mysterious heat waves coming from the South Pole, discovering a zeppelin at the bottom of the ice.
