The final chapter of this six-issue DC series arrives with a cover that makes the stakes unmistakably clear — a colossal, glowing-eyed villain looms over the entire image, proclaiming "The World Is Mine!" while the young heroes of the Supermen of America scramble across crumbling rubble below him. The team's wry in-cover banter ("Apparently, kick us off his property!") keeps the tone from tipping into pure dread, a nice balance that writer Fabian Nicieza brought to the series throughout. Doug Braithwaite and Robin Riggs deliver a cover with real scope, making this August 2000 finale feel like a worthy sendoff for the team.
