Superman finds himself in dire straits on Dave Johnson's striking cover for this 2026 installment — bound in heavy chains with a Kryptonite-laced shackle, he's submerged in a vat of acid (the "CAUTION: ACID" warning label leaving no doubt) as the headline blares "The Prankster Triumphant!" It's a genuinely unsettling image: the Man of Steel visibly weakened and struggling, suggesting the Prankster has pulled off something far more dangerous than a mere gag. Dan Slott, Mike Norton, and Marcelo Maiolo bring "Die Laughing, Part Two" to life in what looks like a delightfully grim chapter for the Last Son of Krypton.
