Superman bespioneert een crashende raket en ontdekt zijn neef Supergirl. Ze vertelt hem hoe Argo City de vernietiging van Krypton overleefde en hoe haar vader haar naar de aarde stuurde toen de inwoners van Argo City werden bedreigd door Kryptonietvergiftiging. Superman zet haar op in Midvale Orphanage zodat ze zich kan aanpassen aan het leven op aarde.
