About this Collection

This collection reprints the classic 1970s stories featuring the original Super Sons—Superman and Batman's children, Clark Kent Jr. and Bruce Wayne Jr.—who team up for adventures while their fathers are away. Written by Bob Haney and illustrated by Dick Dillin, these tales from World's Finest Comics #215-216 and #221-222 showcase the duo's youthful escapades in a lighthearted Silver Age style. This 2017 edition also includes additional material from the Super Sons' later appearances, offering a complete look at their early legacy.

In "Saga of the Super Sons!", Superman, Jr. and Batman, Jr. arrive in the seemingly quiet town of Barstow, only to uncover a buried truth: decades ago, aliens crash-landed there, and the townspeople, fearing them, slaughtered the survivors. Now, the remaining townsfolk are in suspended animation, waiting for a spaceship to repair itself so they can claim its hidden wealth. But someone in Barstow knows more than they’re letting on—and their plans could unravel everything. Written by Bob Haney and illustrated with sharp detail by Dick Dillin, with inks by Murphy Anderson, this 2017 adventure features a striking cover by Nick Cardy.
