This 2020 Urban Comics collection brings together more animated-style adventures from the world of Superman: The Animated Series, and the cover sets the tone perfectly — a chained, upside-down Superman dangles helplessly while the flamboyant Mister Miracle, resplendent in his red-and-green costume, stands confidently beside a sign proclaiming him "le plus grand maître de l'évasion" (the greatest escape artist). The contrast between a struggling Man of Steel and the supremely self-assured New God makes for a wonderfully playful visual promise of the stories within.
