“The Rock 'n' Roll Superman”

In "The Rock 'n' Roll Superman," Jimmy's cousin Jerry, the famed "Rock 'N' Roll Olsen," cancels his concerts due to chicken pox, prompting Jimmy to step in—disguised and lip-syncing to a tape recorder hidden in his guitar. But when the tape triggers Superman’s signal watch, the Man of Steel finds himself dancing rock 'n' roll across Metropolis, stumbling through a charity ball, disrupting a calisthenics class, and failing to stop "The Earl" and his gang—all while losing his usual composure. Written by Otto Binder and illustrated by Curt Swan with inks by Ray Burnley, this lighthearted 1960s adventure captures Superman in a uniquely unheroic, rhythm-driven predicament.

Jimmy's cousin Jerry is the famous "Rock 'N' Roll Olsen", but is down with chicken pox and must cancel his concerts. Jimmy agrees to disguise and lip-sync to a tape recorder hidden in his guitar. But the recorder triggers his signal watch and makes Superman dance rock'n'roll across town. Superman fouls up a charity ball, gets thrown out of a girl's calisthenics class, and can't catch "The Earl" and his gang from committing robberies. And he's lost his dignity!
