Superman untersucht im Auftrag von Dr. Luring ein seltsames Phänomen in einer anderen Galaxis, da ändert sich die Farbe der Sonne und Superman verliert seine Kräfte. Ein dort lebender Steinzeitmensch stiehlt Superman die Bekleidung und auch im Kampf ist er dem Stählernen überlegen. Immer wieder denkt er an vergangene Super-Taten. Lois und Jimmy reisten ihn in einem Raumschiff nach und retten den vor Fieber geschwächten Superman.
