Ray Palmer besucht mit Jean Lorings Neffen Freddy einen Rummelplatz. Der Junge kauft sich eine Wundertüte und findet eine Atom-Figur. Ein Mann klaut sie ihm und Ray verfolgt den Dieb als Atom. Er kommt einem Spionagefall auf die Spur und kann die Gangster überwältigen. Da er dem Jungen versprochen hatte ihm eine Atom-Figur zu besorgen, spielt er die Figur um den Jungen nicht zu entäuschen, doch spielende Kinder sind manchmal schlimmer als üble Verbrecher.
