Im 30. Jahrhundert rätseln die Legionäre über ein Foto, daß den Legionär Anti-Boy zeigt, an den sich aber niemand erinnern kann. 4500 Jahre später entdeckt ein junger Zeitbeobachter, daß das Gerät defekt ist und er somit die Vergangenheit geändert hat. Superboy ist nie in die Legion aufgenommen worden. Er reist in die Vergangenheit um seinen Fehler wieder gut zu machen. Es gelingt ihm die Legionäre davon zu überzeugen, daß er damals Superboy mit Kryptonit beeinflusste, so daß er nicht in die Legion aufgenommen worden ist.
