Zwei Geschwister sinnieren über die Herkunft der Felsformation "Der alte Mann im Berg" in New Hampshire. Rückblende nach Krypton. Auch hier sind zwei Geschwister unterwegs. Sie entdecken einen Meteor mit dem Abbild eines Mannes darauf. Sie haben sich verlaufen, doch der seltsame Meteor weist ihnen den richtigen Weg nach Hause. Auch rettet er sie aus akuter Gefahr. Erneute Rückblende, diesmal nach Atlantis und seinem sagenhaften Herrscher Atlas. Somit ist die Herkunft des Meteors mit dem Gesicht aufgeklärt.
