From Scott Lobdell and artists Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira comes this tense New 52 chapter subtitled "Headaches" — and Kenneth Rocafort's cover makes the tension viscerally clear: a silver-armored, blonde woman with a honeycomb-plated gauntlet cradles a dazed, slumping Superman against a fractured, hive-like backdrop, her expression cool and calculating while his eyes flutter helplessly. The tagline "H.I.V.E. Mentality!" hints at the threat bearing down on the Man of Steel, and the imagery of Superman reduced to vulnerability in an enemy's grip gives this 2013 issue a genuinely unsettling edge.
