Superman #2/1974

Jan 1974 · Egmont Ehapa · 1,20 DEM
“Der Junge, der Superman rettete”

In "Der Junge, der Superman rettete," Clark Kent investigates strange phenomena in Utah’s salt desert on behalf of Morgan Edge—only to leap into action as Superman when Lois Lane is trapped in a shifting dune. As he confronts a mysterious structure that defies physics, he uncovers a lingering threat: the villain Nyxly stole a powerful suit and energy sling, which now links with a local boy, Billy Anders, and his lynx in a mind-swap. When Superman encounters the building again, he’s met not by an enemy—but by his old friend John J’onnz, standing where no one should be. Written by Dennis O'Neil, illustrated by Curt Swan with inks by Murphy Anderson, and featuring a striking cover by Nick Cardy, this 1974 issue blends eerie mystery with classic superhero resolve.
