Zufällig beobachtet und fotografiert ein Bürger von Metropolis, wie der Stählerne Terraman seine Waffen zurückgibt nach seinem letzten Sieg. Terraman hat überall kosmische Bomben versteckt, die Superman zu diesem Entschluss treiben. Bei einem erneuten Show-Kampf gelingt es dem Weltraum-Cowboy Superman zu töten und ihn zu beerdigen.
