Tommy and Brent find a disabled spaceship with a group of survivors known to have committed mutiny and killed the captain. They have been living a "Robinson Crusoe" lifestyle on a hostile planet. They admit to the mutiny but deny the murder. Tommy believes their story and pursues the light waves from the time of the incident through space, finally overtaking them and committing them to film. The mutineers are exonerated and hailed as heroes.
