Supergirl strides forward in full hero mode on this vibrant 2018 cover, cape billowing and fists clenched against a burst of warm golden light — with a young woman tearing open her shirt to reveal the classic S-symbol beside her, and the looming faces of two other figures flanking the scene, while a skeletal hand reaches down from above. A creeping sense of threat and a burst of heroic energy make for a genuinely striking composition from penciler Robson Rocha and inker Daniel Henriques. With Steve Orlando and Jody Houser sharing writing duties and "Girl of Tomorrow!" as the story title, issue #20 promises a Kara Zor-El story with both personal stakes and plenty of action.
