Supergirl #17 presents one of 2018's most unsettling cover images: Kara drenched head-to-toe in viscous green fluid, her expression caught somewhere between rage and anguish as dark tendrils drip ominously around her. Penciler Robson Rocha and inker Daniel Henriques craft a striking portrait that suggests the Maid of Might is facing something deeply corrosive — physically, perhaps even beyond that. Writers Steve Orlando and Jody Houser continue "Plain Sight Part Three," and if this cover is any indication, Kara's situation has taken a decidedly grim turn.
