Superboy #6

Part of DC's New 52 relaunch, Superboy #6 (April 2012) promises a charged clash between two heirs of the House of El — the cover by Shane Davis and Jonathan Glapion places a snarling, glowing-eyed Superboy in his red-circuit suit face-to-face with a fist-raised Supergirl, the Earth itself hanging between them in the starfield backdrop. The tagline "Abomination in the House of El!" sets a tense, family-against-family tone for the story inside, written by Scott Lobdell and Tom DeFalco with interior art by R. B. Silva and Rob Lean. It's a vivid, kinetic cover that makes it hard not to want to find out what drove these two Kryptonians to the brink.
