Superboy #45
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom December 1955, Superboy #45 presents a wonderfully tense cover by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye: a red-caped Superboy soars skyward above what appears to be a public dedication ceremony in his honor, while in the foreground a scheming woman clutches a glowing piece of Kryptonite, her thought bubble revealing her sinister plan to expose Clark Kent's secret identity. The story is billed as "A Trap for Superboy!" — and with Kryptonite already in the villain's hands at a very public event, the setup couldn't feel more precarious for the Boy of Steel.
