This 80-Page Giant from June 1967 packs in a collection of Superboy and Krypto's most thrilling battles, and Curt Swan and George Klein's cover makes a terrific case for the value inside. The main image shows Superboy flying under heavy rifle fire from a squad of soldiers, while two inset panels tease additional confrontations — Krypto squaring off against a menacing fox-like hound, and two Superboys trading punches in what the cover dubs "The Duel of the Superboys." At 25 cents for 80 pages, this 1967 DC anthology offered readers a genuinely substantial dose of Boy of Steel action.
