Superboy #10

The December 1994 cover by Tom Grummett and Karl Kesel says it all: Superboy — leather jacket, S-shield, red gloves — is caught mid-air in the snapping jaws of something massive, rows of enormous white teeth closing in from every side while he strains with everything he's got to push them apart. With a story titled "Hilo Monsters!" and a creative team of Kesel, Ramos, Parks, and Woch delivering the interior, this issue promises the young Man of Steel up against something genuinely dangerous and very, very big.
