In "Sobre Coroas e Chifres," the Tropa Alfa faces a moral crossroads when they encounter the mysterious Garota Púrpura, whose hypnotic powers unsettle even their strongest resolve. After she flees with Jeffries following a tense confrontation, the duo is captured by the Leiloeiro, who plans to auction them as living weapons. The Tropa Alfa intervenes, ultimately choosing to forge a new path by welcoming the Garota Púrpura into the ranks of the first Tropa Beta. Written by Bill Mantlo and Estúdio Art & Comics, with art by Dave Ross and inks by Whilce Portacio, this 1991 Brazilian edition features a cover by Rick Leonardi and Al Williamson.
