Super-Villain Team-Up #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis June 1976 issue puts Doctor Doom and the Sub-Mariner squarely against Marvel's First Family, with the cover — penciled by Jim Starlin and John Romita and inked by Alan Weiss and John Romita — depicting a furious Namor trading blows with the Thing while the Human Torch blazes and the Invisible Girl looks on, all under Doom's imposing armored presence. Lurking at the edges is the mysterious blue-caped Shroud, announced with a dramatic "Enter!" that promises this clash is anything but a straightforward grudge match. Marvel even teases "the most unexpected guest star of all," making this a wonderfully overstuffed slice of mid-'70s super-villain scheming at its most entertaining.
