This anthology issue contains multiple stories including "The Riddle of the Rowboat" featuring Mack Martin, in which Martin investigates a mysterious disappearance connected to a rowboat and attempts to rescue a woman named Betty Islip from danger. The issue also features "Bert and Sue Hurry-Up Harrigan and Mr. Risk," in which the characters encounter a dangerous situation involving a car crash at a shed during a race, with Sue apparently trapped or in peril. Additionally, the issue includes "Catching Criminals With Clues," a true crime story recounting the 1932 robbery and attempted murder of farmer William Ryder near Sing Sing Prison, solved through physical evidence discovered by state police troopers who tracked the bandits using tire impressions and other forensic clues.
