This anthology issue contains at least two stories: one featuring Bert and Sue investigating a turban-wearing villain who damages Sue's turban and attempts to kill them both, with a clue found in the perpetrator's paint-stained suit; and "Hidden Hoard: House," a text story about miners who discover an old man dead in a shack and find a cryptic letter revealing the location of hidden gold in Indian Gulch, leading them on a months-long search. A third story involving a Captain and a police commissioner depicts a dispute over a $5 bet regarding a mole on someone's back, which escalates when the Captain attempts to prevent the man from betting by wagering $10 that he'll have the man's shirt off his back in five minutes.
