Super-Mystery Comics v1 #4

This is an anthology issue containing multiple stories. "Sky Smith" features a pilot who discovers a bomb-laden plane and attempts to defuse the explosive device before it detonates, discovering the plane had been rigged with TNT set to detonate during flight. "The Black Spider" follows lawyer John Garrick's friend Ralph Nelson, who has been arrested for murder, as Nelson investigates to prove his innocence; he visits a remote wooded area where he discovers a rock blocking the entrance to the Black Spider's web, a criminal hideout from which victims never escape. A third story involves officers attempting to apprehend criminals holding Miss Elmiro hostage in a building, with the criminals eventually forced to surrender when police arrive and a woman escaping out a window with a briefcase full of important papers.
