The Phantom Ranger boards a westbound train to stop the ruthless Bates Gang from robbing another gold shipment, but when the bandits seize the locomotive and flee, he pursues them on horseback—only to find himself caught between trigger-happy outlaws and a fierce Comanche war party determined to burn the train and claim every scalp aboard. With the engine barreling toward a sabotaged bridge and the gang leader in his sights, the Phantom Ranger must outgun, outsmart, and outride both threats to save the gold and keep his own hide intact.
"Two Gun" Pesky has been bragging about his nonexistent cowboy skills to impress a young woman named Patsy, so when she challenges him to a horseback ride, he scrambles to bluff his way through it—outfitting himself in full western regalia and hoping the costume alone will carry him. When they hit the bridle path the next morning, things quickly spiral from one comedic disaster to another as Pesky clings to his horse for dear life, but a runaway situation forces him into some genuinely daring action.
