Super-Dooper Comics #8 is an anthology containing multiple stories. "The Adventures of the Handy Dwarf" follows a clumsy elf named Somehands who, despite his handicap, possesses a special ability that the other elves lack; he entertains himself by playing imaginative games with the stars and moonbeams. A separate story features a military adventure in which an American soldier is nearly eaten by a desert lion but is rescued by Sheik Hamid El Humid, an Arab scout working with the British forces, after which they work together through a dangerous desert pass. "Sam Hill" depicts a humorous cowboy character involved in various misadventures, including an encounter at a general store where he attempts simple arithmetic with mixed results.
