Super Comics #91

Walter Berndt's cover art captures a wonderfully cozy winter scene: a portly, snoozing fisherman — fishing rod in hand and "ZZZZs" drifting from his mouth — sits blissfully unaware as a mischievous young boy crouches below him on the ice, clearly up to no good. It's a delightfully warm slice of mid-1940s comic strip culture, all wrapped up in one affordable package.
