Because Naboth would not sell his vineyard to him, King Ahab has Naboth falsely accused of being a traitor. Naboth is stoned to death and King Ahab claims the vineyard. Prophet Elijah appears and tells the king he will suffer as Naboth suffered. The king leads his army, along with that of Judah, into battle with the Syrians, but is killed by an arrow which finds a gap in his armor.
