This anthology issue contains three stories: "Young Joey in Story-book Land," a humorous tale of a boy named Tommy Tucker who plans to sing for his supper and encounters various fairy-tale characters and mishaps; "Rogues of Sherwood Forest," featuring Robin, Earl of Huntingdon, who rescues his imprisoned friend Little John from Nottingham Castle and battles King John's forces in a moonlit adventure through Sherwood Forest; and "A Ticket to Tomahawk," a historical adventure story. The issue also includes "The Chums of St. Clement's," which follows a group of schoolboys and girls including Peter Glynn, Jimmy Topper, and Brenda Drake as they compete with rivals from the Grammar School and become involved in various escapades around their school.
