This anthology issue contains several stories: "Young Joey" follows a schoolboy who, caught in a cold winter, imaginatively escapes to a tropical island where he encounters various adventures including penguins and a friendly bear before being blown back to his classroom. "The Wind in the Willows," adapted from Kenneth Graham's classic, depicts Mole and Rat's riverboat adventures and their encounters with Toad and the little men. "The Adventures of Lancelot Lake" by Hugh Matthews presents a tale involving Sir Lancelot and magical elements in a kingdom setting. "The Fighting O'Flynn" chronicles an adventure involving pursuit, conflict, and naval action. Additionally, the issue features "Find It Who Can!" by John Hunter, a prose story about boys stranded on an island searching for treasure and rescue, and "Sammy Shuteye Finds Spring in the Air," a short comic strip.
