An anthology issue featuring "Young Joey—Always Late for School," a comedic story about a boy who encounters a lion while being chased by his friend Bob for eating Bob's candy; "The Queer Adventures of Patsy and Tim," where the title characters' uncle's dwindling pills create chaos, followed by an adaptation of "There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe"; "Deadshot Sue," a Western adventure in which the titular character confronts criminals and outlaws; "John and Joan in the Frontier Band," depicting frontier adventures; "Sparks and Flash—The Almost Human Car," a tale of an anthropomorphic automobile; and "The Jolly Giants of Jupiter," a science fiction story about Prince Poddlepop and three dukes on Jupiter who become stuck to giant flypaper and deal with complications involving toffee apples and the king's throne.
