Sun #47 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories: "John and Joan in The Forgotten Land" follows two explorers who discover a vast jungle settlement with mysterious inhabitants and encounter strange fungi and giant stone heads; "The Queer Adventures of Patsy and Tim" depicts two children who consume dwindling pills that shrink them to tiny size, leading them on miniature motorcar adventures; "There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" is a whimsical tale of a large shoe-house and its many residents preparing for a picnic; and "Petrified Valley" by W. Holroyd tells of a wizard's hidden lofty room and a cleaning machine discovery. The issue also includes text stories such as "Susan Starr" and "Jolly Giants of Jupiter," a coloring contest, and a "Sammy Shuteye" comic strip.
