# Sun #24 (September 28, 1948) This anthology issue contains several stories: "Voyage to Venus" follows Professor Randall, Joan, and John as they arrive on Venus in a spaceship and encounter dangerous alien creatures and treacherous terrain while attempting to survive and reunite the separated group members. "Susan Starr: The Girl Reporter" by Peter Hallard depicts Susan interviewing a South American farmer about his prized potatoes and uncovering the mystery of a stolen diamond hidden in his coat pocket. Additional features include "Nature Talks" on the robin redbreast, "Formula X" (a serial involving a motor boat and mysterious formula), "Kindheart" comics, "Transport Through the Ages," "Home in Happy Valley" (continuing a western story involving Jed and White Star), "Film Corner" with movie stills and trivia, and a "Cadbury's Quiz" section.
