Suicide Squad Rebirth #13

Part of DC's Rebirth era crossover between the Suicide Squad and the Justice League of America, this 2018 Urban Comics edition brings together some of Task Force X's most volatile personalities. The cover by Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira is a kinetic showdown, with Harley Quinn swinging her massive mallet overhead while Deathstroke — blades drawn — crashes through a shower of splintering debris in the opposite direction, the two combatants locked in a collision that fills every inch of the frame. It's a striking visual promise for the second chapter of "Qui aime bien châtie bien," brought to interior life by writer Rob Williams and artist Agustín Padilla.
