Suicide Squad Rebirth #1

This French-language Urban Comics edition kicks off the DC Rebirth era of Suicide Squad with a cover that puts Harley Quinn front and center — twin pigtails, red corset, and a baseball bat resting on her shoulder — flanked in the shadows by a hulking, gorilla-like figure on the left and an armored, masked figure on the right. The moody, washed-out palette and the looming silhouettes behind her set a tone that's equal parts menacing and darkly playful. With Rob Williams, Jim Lee, Philip Tan, Jason Fabok, Ivan Reis, and Gary Frank all listed among the creators, La Chambre Noire arrives with serious artistic firepower to launch this Rebirth chapter.
