Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum #2

The second chapter of this five-part series serves as the official prequel comic to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Dan Panosian's cover delivers the Squad in full menacing form — Deadshot leveling his weapon straight at the viewer, King Shark looming large and fang-filled behind him, Harley Quinn smirking confidently to the right, and a scruffy, sharp-eyed figure rounding out the crew against what looks like the barred corridors of Arkham itself. Writer John Layman and artist Jesús Hervás, with colors by David Baron, continue "The Killers" as this ragtag team of volatile antiheroes presses deeper into one of DC's most notorious institutions. If the cover's anything to go by, this Squad has absolutely no intention of playing it safe.
